A lot of kitchens in Denver homes were built for a different time, with small counters, tight layouts, and cabinets that don't hold much. Old cabinetry sticks, doesn't close right, or just looks worn out. A small kitchen feels even smaller when the layout wastes half the floor space on a walkway nobody uses. Denver sits a mile up at the western edge of the Great Plains, and that shows up in the kitchen.
